Good morning AF!!!


Woke up to a brisk 67 degrees, comforter on, windows open. Track pants on, I was ready to take on the day.


What did I have in store? Cheesecakeing part two. At first, I thought we only had a ten inch spring form when we need a nine inch. Oh no!! I don’t do well with change. Turns out, we have both. Learned my lesson from last time, I made the Graham cracker crumbs too small. Hopefully she’s crunchier.


I’ve heard you’re supposed to bake with love, so I listened to OBOY. Also, being in Long Island means being reunited with my favorite part of the North Fork, our 5 gallon water jug dispenser. No longer are the days where I have to stand by our kitchen sink for hours waiting for my water bottle to slowly fill up!!! I can have a beautiful, room temperature glass done in seconds.


On another note, if you’ve been keeping up to date, you’ll know, and maybe still be wondering yourself, about the questions I asked in my last post. Specifically, how the fuck people fit through the narrow doors on the sides of tunnels. Turns out, a real shocker, it isn’t that mysterious. I’ve been told that they’re probably storage closets. So, no one really has to walk through them. Really, I was hoping for no answer so I could continue to complain about it. Still, I’m glad to know. As they say, Knowledge is Power.


What else have I been doing? Reading other blogs for inspo. Now, I can tell you why your electric bill is so high, how to smooth an Artex ceiling, the ten warning signs that your rental property needs an electrician, how to bring a ‘coastal vibe’ to your home, and more about the myths of a work life balance. Riveting stuff.


Also, I’ve been thinking a lot about the Canadians.


Do I need to finally teach myself Celsius? People tell me it’s easier but I feel like they’re lying. Because it’s not.
