#GroceryShopped today. Was a slamming success. Wicked Smaht, as my ancestors (Grandparents) say (they don't say it - but their townspeople - Bostonians - do). My walk was filled with bike drama. (Two incidents).

First off, I came across this lonely wheel. I couldn't help but feel for her, sitting all by herself on the scorching cement.

Then, I saw this girly. (I say then, but this happened before the first picture... don't tell). I took a picture because the basket color matched the bike, but looking back on it it, does it match??? Having a hard time piecing this one together. It matches enough.

My weekly groceries came out to $20.17 (Canadian dollars 😈), so I had a pep in my step as I decided to get ice cream. It was perfect timing, as the ice cream store was basically next door, and I had nothing that needed to go immediately in the fridge.

As per usual, my card was hidden in the depths of my bag, coexisting among the 'Regulars', or the things that haven't yet broken their months long streak of resting at the bottom of my backpack.

I spent a good three minutes digging around for it before ordering, sweaty and frazzled.

Before I had the chance to solve the mystery of where she (the card) ended up, the guy working there held up a filled out "punch 9 and get one free" card and asked if I wanted it.

Duh!!!!!!!

He did me right, hitting me with the double scoop and all. What a king. (Sorry Brits and Canadians - didn't mean to bring it up. Very insensitive of me).

OH!! And... the Shawarma guy at BMH, my man Darren, called me one of his most loyal customers. Had me blushing... I know he says that to all the girlies, but it was still meaningful to hear the words come out of his mouth.

Xoxo
